More Pumpkin Patch

Thursday, October 14, 2010

Just thought I would share a few more pictures from our weekend at the Pumpkin Patch.  If you have not been to Walter's Pumpkin Patch you definitely should go.  We have been going since Riley was born and I love it more each year.
After spending so much time trying to get the pictures to line up just right I have decided to give up and just go with it.  Hope you enjoy, I just love seeing the complete joy in the kids' faces as they jump around and explore.
Happy Fall!!!!

I live for weekends like these

Have I ever said just how much I love the pumpkin patch?  I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! The kids get to have so much fun and run and play outside.  It has become a family tradition for us and every year I love it even more.  This past Saturday we made our yearly trip out to Walter's Pumpkin Patch.  Riley's favorite activity is most definitely the jumping pillow.  We were practicing our jumping for at least a good two weeks before our visit.  If he could have spent the whole day on that pillow he would have.

I think Hannah was just loved the fact she was outside and was being pulled around all day.  She is such a happy girl.  She is content just being by herself or when she is the center of attention.  When we took the hayrack ride at the end of the day out into the pumpkin patch would probably be my favorite part of the day with Hannah.  She was starting to get tired and wanted to be held.  So, I got to have some cuddle time with my sweet baby girl while we enjoyed the ride.

A highlight of the day was the corn maze.  The kids were so excited when we first started. Riley even needed to borrow Aunt Cole Cole's sunglasses.  About halfway through they gave up and decided they were too bored and tired.  So, they fell asleep right in their wagon.  At first they were both sitting up sleeping, but gradually the both fell forward.  Too precious!
After a fun filled day at the pumpkin patch we all enjoyed a quiet evening at home just relaxing and enjoying each others company.  On Sunday we ran errands and went to a birthday party for one of our good friends.  This was Hannah's first birthday party besides her and Riley's.  I am not sure what she thought of a bunch of silly 5 year old girls, but she was all smiles most of the day.  To wrap up our fun filled weekend we came home and grilled out.  What a great way to end a pretty fantastic weekend.
